On July 22nd of 2016 Edisa’s parents picked her up from the dope house. She had no hope and was slowly dying from this disease. They had to wheel her into a store because she had no shoes and could barely walk. Today, she is a strong woman who is no longer enslaved by addiction. Edisa eradicated the hopeless search for a fix and allowed her soul to be her one true fix. It has been a rough journey but she is thankful for it all. The highs, the lows. The blessings, the lessons. The setbacks, the comebacks. Everything.
